Mother Judith L.W. Willis

The Mother of the Jurisdiction – Virginia Third Jurisdiction

Mother Willis was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia. She is the eldest of two daughters born to the late Johnnie and Georgia Washington. She is a graduate of Norfolk State University earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration.

Possessing a strong work ethic and a continuous drive to achieve higher and greater goals, Mother Willis is a true servant to and for the work of the Kingdom of God. Mother Willis has worked in ministry for nearly fifty years walking and succeeding in the shoes of a “First Lady” while maintaining the worthy titles of wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Mother Willis accepted the Lord as her personal savior at the age of nine, since then she has successfully served in many positions and is currently a member of the Garden of Prayer Temple – Zion City in Norfolk, Virginia where she is the Women’s Ministry Leader, and Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. The Lord has worked through Mother Willis in giving her the vision for the Annual Hanging with Sister Willis Conferences to empower the lives of women and men throughout the Tidewater area and beyond with the tools, knowledge, and information to better their lives.

Mother Willis was married to the late Bishop Levi E. Willis II for 49 years before his transition to glory. She is the mother of four great children: the late Elder Levi E. Willis III (Trelanie), Superintendent Jasper M. Willis (LaTonya), Bishop Jonathan G. Willis (Felicia) and Missionary Tiffani J. Willis, the grandmother of eight wonderful blessings, Jaylen, Jordin, Zoe, Niyah, David, Jonathan II, Jami, and Journi; and a spiritual mother to many.
